The long anticipated
Central music award is here at last and has been slated for December 26, 2016
at Cape Coast Centre for National Culture.
Central Music Awards,
which until now known as Obama City Music Awards, is an annual event organized
by Candimania Entertainment and has been observed for four consecutive years and
continues to be the biggest musical event in Central region.
Briefing Ghanashow.com,
the Chief Executive Officer of Candymania Entertainment, Lucas Candid Mensah
revealed that a call for entries will begin in October.
The Sompa FM's Drive
Time host assured musicians, producers and music fans within the region that
this year's event will be an extraordinary one since it has been packaged in a
distinctive form.
Some of the
activities that have been planned in line with the event include Nominees' Jam
on November 26 while the awards night falls on December 26.
The theme for this
year's event is: Be Original, Craft an Identity.
